Been spending most our lives ... living in a gangsta's paradise...

 Sep 29, 2011

It's time for another episode of "I Can't Believe You Found That in the TRASH!" with special guest star, Intensely Awesome Mirror.  In this tearjerking episode, Carla discovers a dusty but nearly perfect mirror cast into the garbage.  Horrified, she cleans it up and nurtures it back to health, giving this once street-tough decor some self-respect and a place to finally call home.

Check out more on her blog Arte e Manha.

I wonder if people ever come onto your blog and think "Crap...that was MY mirror...It could have looked like THAT?".

Obviously a palace cast off, rescued to greatness by a commoner with an eye.

Hi, Lindsey, thank you for featuring my mirror!

And Heather, I don´t know who threw this gorgeous away, but I know that was one of my neighbors... Maybe he comes to my house one day :)

Hello,
I love the white colour and how it brightens up the room. It adds a whole new level of dimension. The difference it makes is unbelievable. What room is that? What inspired you in this room?

Mara, this room is the entrance of my home. It had very ugly and dark walls and I covered them with wallpaper. You can see the transformation here:
