Well, I've dusted off my cane, took a swig of prune juice and joined Facer and Twitbook, or whatever you whippersnappers call it.
Actually, I've been lurking around each site for months and not really done much, but I'm determined to figure it out!
And I'm embarrassed to admit it's kicking my butt. I swear, Twitter is entirely in code! It's all @ this and # that, and I feel like the dorky new kid at school who has no idea where to sit in the cafeteria! A very old, cantankerous new kid, but still.

Lindsey... I know what you mean. Twitter, as Michele stated above, for some reason, terrifies me. I just joined Facebook a few weeks ago with the encouragement of my son. I would love to be friends. :)
Oh my gosh, if you can blog (I just started a couple of weeks ago and I'm so behind the learning curve)then FB (that's code for facebook) will be easy. As for Twitter? Uh...

I agree with you on Twitter. I am on it and follow a lot of sites, but the @ and the # and the other codes, I just don't get it! GL and I am following you on twit! :)

I'm your friend! I like FB but Twitter is beyond me. I just don't get it! I tried, I created an account and I just don't know what to do after that! If you figure it out, give us some tips.

I just joined Twitter the other day and I'm in the same boat as you. I'm slowly learning how it works. I'm now a follower on Twitter :)

You put into words perfectly how I feel about all the social media sites. Twitter is like learning a new language and I am still trying to do it right. I just signed up at HootSuite to try to help me keep all the streams in one place so I don't have to hop back and forth between them all.

I am a facebooker, but have not even looked at the twitter site. I am not really sure why I am being so stubborn about it. Probably because the last thing I need is something else to take up more of my time on the computer.
When you figure things out, you should do a post with little twitter tips for us other newbies. : )

I have no idea what to do with all the stupid @'s and #'s either. Whenever people post twitter updates on Facebook I have no idea what they are talking about. It just looks like typos. No thanks. I'll stick to blogging...and the old standby Facebook.
