Fridge Handles

 Nov 19, 2009

Sometimes the tiniest change can make the biggest difference. Amanda over at Imperfectly Beautiful had some grungy yellowing fridge handles. What to do? No amount of scrubbing can change that. But do you know what can? Spray paint made specifically for plastic. It's like a brand new fridge!  This is seriously the type of thing that would have me wandering into the kitchen for no other reason that just to grin happily at it.

Do you have anything that could use a little freshening up?  Perhaps this would be possible on my shower floor. I don't have a tile shower, it's just made out of fiberglass, or whatever that stuff is, and the grunge is here to stay. But then again, maybe not!

Great idea! And those details make such a difference.

Who knew that such a small change could make such a huge impact.

Brilliant! Thank you so much for such a helpful hint. Off to the hardware store,

The fridge looks great! I am in the same boat with my tub, or at least I thought I was for 8 years. I sprayed Lime Away on the stains, let them soak, and then scrubbed them away. It looks like a brand new tub!

For your shower floor, have you tried borax? It worked for the grey tinge I couldn't get rid of in our shower--tried kaboom, clr, you name it. Just sprinkle a generous amount on the damp shower floor and scrub.
