Better Fence
Oct 22, 2009
Not only was this fence an eyesore, but it looks to me like a bit of a safety hazard! And I don't know much about how they do things in Texas, but are the oil pipes along the fence there for form or function?
Either way, they had to go, and doesn't it look lovely? Thanks to Alyssa from Swiss Avenue!
ps: if you are an eagle-eyed reader, you may have already noticed that this was already posted. I saved it as a draft awhile ago and when I hit "publish" it published it in the order I had written it... So anyhoodle, what I can't figure out is: how can I schedule my posts? Anyone? Does blogger even have that capability? OK, enough boring stuff, carry on.

The after is amazing!
Right under the new post editor box, still in the tan colored border, it says Post Options with an arrow by it. If you expand that section, on the right there is a place to change the post date and time.
I'm in Texas, and my family visiting from California wondered the same thing about the metal posts....until they got to experience one of our storms. 75mph winds require a bit more reinforcement, you know what I'm sayin? ;)
I so wish we had the money to do this at our current rental home. The back fence probably once looked amazing but over the years the fence and the mini deck in the back yard are complete eye sores! If this was a home that I owned I would definitely redo it but since it's a rental I'll deal with it until finding my dream home.
great fence re-do
Thank you for my feature!! I love my new fence so much that I am now thinking about re-doing my arbor! Of course I will be sending you those pictures as well!
Thanks again, Alyssa @ Swiss Avenue
